Denver Information and Referral Office - Staffed entirely by volunteers, this office is a pivotal point of contact for residents who have questions about what services and programs are available to seniors and how to access them. They also have current information about activities offered by Horizons.

Cocalico Area Senior Center – Located in the former Reinholds Elementary School, this recently renovated center draws seniors from a wide area to include Adamstown, Bowmansville, Denver, East Earl, Ephrata, Fivepointville, New Holland, Reinholds and Stevens. Open 5 days a week, the Cocalico Area Senior Center offers a wide variety of activities in addition to noon meals.

Lititz Area Senior Center – This active center for the well-older residents of Lititz and surrounding communities is open 3 days a week. It is located in the Lititz United Methodist Church and welcomes you to stop in and visit for coffee and lunch.

Without Walls – Horizons offers an assortment of activities and support to those who find it difficult to go to a community senior center due to caregiving or work responsibilities. To ensure the growth and community–led sustainability of Without Walls, a network of community-based organizations, businesses and individuals, committed to sharing and developing resources, is being developed to provide programs, services, activities and opportunities for all older adults throughout northern Lancaster County.

Social Activities

Horizons organizes as many different types of activities as there are individual interests -  creative arts, health and wellness, volunteer opportunities and more.

The fourth Tuesday of each month, St Johns UCC of Denver sponsors a social evening to include a light dinner.  Anyone 60 years of age or older is welcome.  St Johns UCC is a major sponsor of Horizons and services to seniors.

In addition to educational seminars and programs, Horizons provides opportunities to travel around the country on group trips to places like the Finger Lakes, Cape Cod, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge along with day trips to the Poconos, Baltimore, Washington DC, Longwood Gardens and QVC.

Educational Series

A wide variety of topics are presented monthly in two locations,

(1) The Ephrata Recreation Center, the second Tuesday of every month at 10:00 a.m., and
(2) The Denver Borough Hall, the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m.
